Authentication of Merchandise

KCA Design is not affiliated with any brand it sells​. Brands are not responsible for any product purchased from KCA Design and do not guarantee the authenticity of goods sold by KCA Design, nor do brands offer authentication services for their merchandise.  

While KCA Design does not authenticate merchandise and is not an authorized luxury authentication service, authenticity is an integral part of our business.  Items listed for sale are carefully curated by KCA Design and well-vetted vendors who offer authenticated merchandise and are authenticated by, but not limited to REAL AUTHENTICATION, INC or AUTHENTICATE FIRST.  Any serial cards and/or authentication documents related to merchandise obtained by KCA Design from its vendors will be passed on by KCA Design to ​its buyers (the “Clients”) with their purchase of such merchandise. If such authentication documents are not available for merchandise to be purchased by a Client, such Client may, at an additional cost to the Client and prior to purchasing their merchandise, request an authentication ​report and/or certificate​ from ​REAL AUTHENTICATION, INC. or AUTHENTICATE FIRST, a third party recognized by KCA Design as a specialist in authenticating luxury merchandise (“RAI” or “AF”). 

Thirty-Day Refund Policy

If, within thirty (30) days after the date of their receipt of merchandise from KCA Design, the Client obtains a written report from RAI or AF which determines such merchandise to be inauthentic, and, within five (5) days of the date of such report, the Client notifies KCA Design via email ​(legal@kcadesignco.com)​ of the reported inauthenticity, along with a copy of the RAI or AF report, then KCA Design will provide the Client with a full refund of the purchase price paid for such merchandise upon KCA Design’s receipt of the purchased merchandise in the same condition as when it was sold to the Client.  All authentications must be conducted and documented by and through the same third party used to authenticate merchandise prior to client receiving it in order for merchandise to be eligible for a refund. 

The Client agrees that its sole remedy for any claims or actions related to merchandise purchased from KCA Design shall be the right to a 30-day refund as provided in the immediately preceding paragraph and other than KCA Design’s obligation to provide such refund in accordance with the procedure specified therein KCA Design shall have no liability of any kind and nature whatsoever for any merchandise sold to the Client which may later be determined to be inauthentic.
